All the staff here is so friendly, and patient with her, and clearly they’re good dog people because she will actually take treats from them. That is a first! "The best veterinary experience! Dr Johnson saved my cat from a very rare dog disease. He researched all over and saved my stray cat / survivor. Only 5 counties have this and Arizona is the only place to get the medication. I found another cat in the same area a few years earlier in Hickory, NC and he had the same thing. He passed away as another vet had no idea what was wrong. Dr. Johnson did the research and saved my other cat. Thank you so much to you and your staff! My cat today is still going strong after 10 years. Thank you so much! He is my baby."

“The staff were very caring and helpful. We adopted an "old boy" of 10 years and brought him here for a check up. Come to find out he is in renal failure. :( But with their help and our love, he will live out his last days in a loving home being snuggled instead of being stuck in a shelter. Love our Beau!”

"The people here are incredibly kind and understanding. I ran in an absolute emotional wreck with my very sick baby and they took him in immediately and got to work. They worked to console me and keep me up to date on the progress and how he was doing. They clearly care deeply about their patients and seem extremely knowledgeable. They ran needed tests in a timely manner and gave my baby much love for me while I couldn't. I would highly recommend this hospital for everyone(especially college students like myself). I owe them all the thanks and appreciation in the world for all of the help and kindness they showed my fur baby and myself. Gizmo and I send our thanks!"

"I have had wonderful experiences with the doctors and staff at the Animal Hospital of Boone. My pug, Niki, has been coming here since she was a pup. This past spring she turned 14 and was not in good health anymore. I knew at some point I would have to make the call for her and be her best friend in the end. It was one of the hardest and gut wrenching decisions I have ever made. When I woke up on April 11 I asked my husband to call the staff and let them know we needed to come in. I knew if I called i would just break down on the phone. They scheduled us within an hour. When we walked in with Niki the whole staff was very compassionate. I was able to hold Niki and pet her during her final moments. At the end they put Niki in an Angel bag so I could bring her home and bury her. There was no charge for my visit that day and I am grateful for the compassion the doctor and staff showed me that day. Thank you. When I am ready for another dog I will bring her to all of you."

“They were great and always have been! I've been going to Dr. Chestnut since I got to Boone with my rats. He's always done such a great with my boys. Then, my kitty Juniper had an accident where she swallowed something. Dr. Palmer took her in without her being a patient yet and fixed her up the next morning. She even did a complimentary x-ray after the fact to check for pneumonia when she lost her voice. Everyone at this clinic is great!”
